BHRC Awarded Partnership Planning Grant

BHRC was awarded a $103,000 partnership planning grant from the Economic Development Administration (U.S. Department of Commerce). The funding will enable BHRC to maintain the region’s economic development district (EDD) and the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The 2016 Land Use Council 1 Envirothon Competition was held on March 8, 2016, at Highland Community College, and was hosted by the Soil and Water Conservation Districts of Carroll, Jo Daviess, Lee, Ogle, Stephenson and Whiteside Counties.
